Frequently asked questions about drone cleaning

Answers to the most common questions from building owners, hotel engineers, property managers and investors about professional drone cleaning in Thailand.

General

Facades, glass, roofs, cladding, solar panels and hard-to-access structures. Pure water heated to 70 degrees Celsius, adjustable pressure from 10 to 250 bar, coverage rate 1,000-1,500 square metres per hour. All operations are Certibiocide certified and use biodegradable solutions only.
Drone cleaning reduces total project costs by 30 to 50 percent. For a typical 20-story Bangkok building: THB 180,000-450,000 with CleanAlta versus THB 350,000-800,000 with traditional scaffolding. You eliminate scaffolding rental (THB 150,000-400,000) and 2-4 weeks of setup time.

Yes. We plan every mission with safety perimeters, off-peak scheduling and building management coordination. Most facade sections complete in 2-4 hours. We have cleaned occupied 5-star hotels during peak tourist season with no guest complaints.
Bangkok (3,000+ high-rises), Phuket (150+ international resorts), Koh Samui (boutique resorts and marinas), Krabi (tourism infrastructure), and Chiang Mai (heritage buildings and temples). We are expanding nationwide through local partnerships.

Technical

Glass, concrete, rendered surfaces, natural stone, brick, metal cladding, composite panels, timber, ceramic tiles, solar panels and GFRC. The cleaning method and pressure are adapted to each specific material.
Under standard CAAT regulations, our drones operate up to 90 metres altitude. For buildings exceeding this height, we apply for extended altitude authorization from CAAT. The tethered drone system has no technical altitude limit.
1,000 to 1,500 square metres per hour, depending on surface type and soiling level. This is 10 to 15 times faster than a scaffolding crew. A typical 20-story hotel facade completes in 1-3 days instead of 2-6 weeks.

Safety and regulations

We maintain THB 2,000,000 third-party liability coverage for all drone operations, meeting CAAT regulatory requirements for commercial operations. This covers all close-proximity building work.
No. CleanAlta operations are 100 percent ground-based. No scaffolding, no rope access, no gondola, no lifts. The drone is operated by a pilot on the ground. We have had zero height-work incidents in over 10 years of commercial operations.
