Drone cleaning for factories, warehouses and rooftop solar

An industrial roof is big, fragile and full of things nobody should walk on: skylights, panels, old sheets. A tethered drone cleans roofs, PV arrays, gutters and cladding from above with purified water, while the plant keeps running and the crew stays on the ground.

What we clean on an industrial site

Rooftop solar arrays

Dust, pollen, bird droppings and soot cut output. Purified water, low pressure, no detergent, no contact, no weight on modules.

Metal roofs and skylights

Algae, dirt and rust streaks on sheet and standing-seam roofs. Skylights cleared so daylight comes back in.

Gutters and downpipes

Blocked gutters flood roofs in the monsoon. In France we have cleaned 20 gutters of 42 m and 40 downpipes on one industrial site.

Cladding and showrooms

Painted and composite cladding, glass showrooms and offices on the front of the plant.

Why plant managers like it

  • No roof access: no harness lines, no walkways, no fragile-roof risk
  • No production stop: the team works from a yard or car park, early in the morning
  • Permit-to-work friendly: method statement, perimeter, safety induction, one contact
  • Output back on PV: clean panels produce more, and we clean before the panels get hot
  • A report with photos of the roof condition you cannot see from the ground

In France we work for Veolia and Bouygues sites among others, and we hold a roof and solar cleaning offer with slow-acting algae treatments chosen for the material.

Where in Thailand

The industrial estates of the Eastern Economic Corridor, Chonburi, Rayong and Chachoengsao, hold the largest concentration of big roofs and rooftop solar in the country. Estates around Bangkok, Ayutthaya and Pathum Thani are next. We are looking for one or two industrial sites as pilot jobs, ideally with a rooftop PV array and a metal roof on the same site.

Industrial questions

Do you need the solar plant switched off?

Usually not. We use purified water at low pressure and no contact. We follow the installer's and manufacturer's guidelines and the site's permit-to-work.

How do you handle a 20,000 m² roof?

In sections, over several days, at 500 to 800 m² per hour on suitable surfaces. We plan moves between take-off points with the site.

What about the water?

We bring the treatment unit and connect to a site water point. Purified water only on panels and glass; the treatment on roofs is chosen for the material and applied according to the label.

Can you fly inside an industrial estate?

With the estate's rules and the standard Thai permissions, yes. Sites within 9 km of U-Tapao or another airport need CAAT permission with more lead time.

Have a building in Thailand that is hard to clean?

Send us a few photos, the address and the approximate height. We will tell you honestly whether a drone, a water-fed pole or a platform is the right tool, and whether your site could join the pilot program.
