Thailand pilot program: be among the first sites cleaned by drone
We are choosing a small number of buildings in Thailand for our first jobs. Pilot sites get a full method statement, Thai permits and insurance handled by us, a documented before-and-after, and a tailored price. In return, we ask to document and publish the result.
The sites we are looking for
We want buildings where a drone makes a real difference, and owners or managers who are curious enough to try a new method.
Hotels and resorts
Glass façades, atriums, pool buildings, villa roofs. Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya, Koh Samui, Chiang Mai.
Condos and office towers
Curtain walls where gondolas are slow, missing on some façades, or due for replacement.
Hospitals and universities
Sites that never close and need cleaning without workers at height outside rooms.
Factories and warehouses
Large roofs and rooftop solar arrays on industrial estates in the Eastern Economic Corridor and around Bangkok.
What a pilot site gets
- A site survey and a written method statement for your building
- Drone and operator registration with the NBTC and the CAAT, and the flight permissions your site requires
- Third-party liability insurance covering the job
- A crew trained on French job sites, with the method used for RATP and Saint-Gobain
- A before-and-after report with photos and surfaces cleaned
- A tailored price, and priority when we set up regular service
What we ask in return
- Access to the site, a take-off area, water and power
- A contact on site who can close access below the work zone
- Permission to film and photograph the job
- Permission to publish the result as a reference, anonymised if you prefer
- Honest feedback after the job
We will only start flights in Thailand once registrations, permissions and insurance are in place. If a site cannot be authorised, we will say so and not fly.
How it works
Apply
Fill in the form or send a WhatsApp message with the address, building type, height and a few photos.
Remote assessment
We review photos, maps and airspace around your site and tell you whether drone cleaning is possible and useful.
Site visit
We visit with our local partner, check take-off areas, obstacles, wind, water and power, and agree the schedule.
Permits and insurance
Registrations and permissions with the Thai authorities, insurance certificate, method statement shared with your team.
Cleaning day
Perimeter set up, test area, cleaning by drone and pole, final rinse. The duration is set in the method statement.
Report and next steps
Photos, surfaces, observations, and a proposal for regular cleaning if you want it.
Why we are coming to Thailand
Thailand combines tall glazed buildings, a climate that dirties façades fast, a huge hospitality sector and a fast-growing base of rooftop solar on industrial buildings. The Department of Tourism counted 17,126 hotels and 711,729 rooms in the first half of 2024.
Thai rules on drones are clear and enforced: registration, insurance, distances from people, permissions for urban flights. That suits a company like ours, used to working under French and EU rules with prefecture authorisations.
We would rather start small and do it properly than announce a network of cities. The first regions will be the ones where our pilot sites are.
- 17,126hotels in Thailand, H1 2024
- 711,729hotel rooms, H1 2024
- 1M THBminimum third-party insurance for drones
- 2 yearsvalidity of CAAT registration
Pilot program questions
Is the pilot free?
No, but it is priced to make trying the method easy. The price depends on the building and is set after the site survey.
When will the first jobs take place?
As soon as we have selected sites, confirmed our local partner and obtained registrations and permissions. We will give each applicant a realistic date after the remote assessment.
Which cities do you cover?
We will start where the pilot sites are. Applications from Bangkok, the Eastern Seaboard, Phuket, Koh Samui and Chiang Mai are all welcome.
Who will be on site?
A CleanAlta pilot trained in France and our Thai partner's team. All flights follow the Thai rules for drone operations.
Have a building in Thailand that is hard to clean?
Send us a few photos, the address and the approximate height. We will tell you honestly whether a drone, a water-fed pole or a platform is the right tool, and whether your site could join the pilot program.
